Model Su ChitSu Chit, debut in advertising commercial of MPT, one of mobile phone operator in Myanmar. Su Chit was remark as very cute with "thanakhar" on her beauty face by audience and that commercial video directed by famous Director Aung Ko Latt.

A Nobel-Myanmar literary festival was held three-day festival starting Jan. 17,
to promoting the country's literary world and raising public interest in literature.

The play " Want to be Royal", that perform with famous writers as actor, written by Syar Zaw Gyi and directed by Author Chit Oo Nyo.

Myanmar held 67th Independence Day with a military parade in the capital city of Naypyitaw.

The armed forces of Myanmar demonstrate fighter jets, tanks and long-range artillery and was attended by Myanmar President Thein Sein and representatives from various ministries, parliment representatives and foreign guests.

Myanmar was granted its independence from Britain on January 4, 1948.
